I think that it was the right idea to put out the contribution container for donations to the expenses that are occurred by the main members who donate their time and expertise to the Nano Meet. Both myself and my friend who both had T4 done by Duncan wanted to put towards the running cost of the nano, but the container was not out. At the next meet, can it please be put out so we can contribute. We were a little upset that Duncan and all the other Nano workers could not be mildly rewarded for their time and putting on a good show in the less than warm weather. Congratulations.

Thanks for the post, the only reason that the box was not out was because I missed the meet, but I can confirm that it will be out at the rest of the meets this year

Hi. I did explain why the box wasn't there at the time.

I'm sure this isn't what was meant, but in case someone else reading this gets the wrong end of the stick, it's not about rewarding the crew. Some people said they wanted to contribute to running costs, for example when the shelters get damaged and need spare parts or repairs.

HI Rob.
We must remember to hang the box out as soon as we get there, as most seem to ask more once the T4 is present, also a little cheeky link below to help Mick with the community & the fact he sorts this forum out for us too.

I was at the meet last weekend, but never noticed a sign or box for contributions, but I would willingly give a tenner at any of the meets, every time I attend one,i come away and have learnt something new about keeping these great cars on the road, the guys are all so very helpful in talking you through different jobs, could'nt wish to meet a nicer bunch, next time I go I will seek out the contribution box, see you all at the next meet, regards Ian.

Thanks Ian the box wasn't out on Saturday which was my fault as I couldn't attend, for future meets we will have it available on both days, thanks for your kind comments about the meets and glad you are enjoying them , it's great to get the feedback
