Thanks for posting the reminder Scott, thought I had done one . I've put one on the forum, if there is enough of us it might be useful to have a bit of a discussion about "supporting" the Ashes.

HI Martyn.
I have asked Rob to start a thread on supporting the FA that way we can get other owners/members to get involved in a debate, but we must not forget that the pub owners also have a roll to play, ie making sure that the food & service is up to scratch, as people are not wanting to enter and pay for meals that could be lets say not the best, I asked at the last meet a few owners after they had had a lunch there how it was and the feedback was not promising, burgers were sub standard, so they must have been cheap burgers.

I doubt whether I'll be able to make the social night on Tuesday, I have some family business to attend to in Hertfordshire and I'm not sure if I'll be back in time for the meet. My apologies.
