" I attended my first nano yesterday, I never knew they existed until a couple of months ago even though I live about 15 miles away from the Four Ashes! It was a great day and met some nice, friendly people, plus we had glorious weather although I wish I'd remembered sun cream for the back of my neck. Thanks a lot to Paul and Duncan for the t4 work, performing a 'reconfigure ecu's' to clear my BCU problem and giving me back remote central locking and correct front window operation! Shame it then stopped playing ball so couldn't get the health check done. Plus thanks to Paul for the power fold door looms and Bernard, Julian, John , Dave and anyone else I've forgotten for the help fitting the power folds. It was quite scary seeing the car without doors but ended up being a pain free experience with all the help given."

" What a fantastic weekend! Caroline and myself really thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are very much up for the September meet. I have gained so much knowledge and advice over the weekend and I now fully understand the nano ethos and how it works. It just gives you so much confidence when seeking advice to start a job knowing that if you get stuck for any reason then help and assistance is just over your shoulder."

" The work you, steve/duncant4 and others do to put on the nano meets have saved me a small fortune in car repairs and have also given me and others the confidence to tackle what I would have called 'daunting tasks' a year ago."

" Yesterday was my first visit to a Nano meet and I can now put names to faces. Trebor and the 'crew' are to be congratulated on a fantastic facility. I didn't need any jobs done, but was amazed at all the jobs that were being done for fellow members, some quite big 'bumper off' jobs. Add to this the friendly easy going attitude, and the sharing of R40 knowledge, and you get a first rate service of self-help. If you haven't been, do try and get to one of the Nano events soon, so that you can see what you are missing, and probably save yourself £s.
One thing that must not be forgotten, is that these Nano meets (in particular the Midlands Nano), are run by a few volunteers, who give freely of their time and knowledge. Although most people are members of one 'club' or another, the actual Nano is not affiliated to any particular club, and is a stand-alone self help group.
With personal gratitude, please keep up the good practical work you are all doing ".

" Another great meet. Huge thanks to the organisers.
It was good to see that as soon as the weather gods allowed that the bumpers were off and a good number of people went home with their objectives achieved.
It was nice to meet some more members for the first time as well as catch up with those I have met before.
As always arrived home with a warm glow and my faith in human nature restored.
You would have to go a long way to find a finer more helpful and altruistic group of people.
Pats on the back all round chaps.
Thanks again for another great meet."

" Just got back home to soggy wet Wales from our first Nano meet on both Saturday and Sunday and had a great time. What a good set up with a superb and diverse bunch! There was stuff going on everywhere!
Learned a huge amount - gained a bit of confidence to tackle a few jobs now that I wouldn't have started by myself before this weekend. Met some great guys, got a couple of jobs done including one of Arctic's Handbrake Mods (my god what a difference) even a T4 health check and managed to get my hands a l'il bit dirty too!!
Thank you to all the Midland Nano-ers for a brill weekend ! "
