Odd. Does that mean we are no longer welcome?

No Duncan just another new manager of two months ago who says has never had the key passed on

Good to hear that in one way, worrying in another. But we've kept going through a few worrying times, including once the we turned up and the field had been let out as a caravan pitch.

Yes I remember that well Duncan the pub is a managed house so regular changes of manager have become the norm we just keep going as long as we can and trying to stay onside knowing that a venue like this would be very difficult to replace

Agreed unless the one i am trying to negotiate works to our advantage, on down side would be no camping, and no meals, but i am hoping it will work out just in case we ever needed another meet place, Edgar says he might make it over to us Sunday. :!:

Thanks again Rob for so many great photographs. You really do capture the essence of such a meeting, long may it continue and hope the quick change round of managers doesn't cause a problem. Perhaps we should all keep a look out for possible back-up venues. Not far from me is the Royal Oak at Much Marcle who have a huge tarmac parking area. They have a few other car clubs who meet there. They are amenable to a general meeting and of course can provide meals and facilities. Plenty of cider here too! Downside is of course it's hardly local to most of Nanomeeters.
Thanks for photos, even Rodrigo got in on the act.
