Midlands Nano Meets

Hi guys how many turned up, i have not been to a social meet now for at least 3 years, doubt i will ever again either.

There were 6 of us Steve, a pleasant evening sitting outside later after, when those that had eaten had finished.
Quite understand and respect your situation so it's no problem.

Next one is Tuesday 16th August , I have gone for 3rd Tuesday in August as the Nano Meet is just before the usual 2nd Tuesday and we did say a while back that we wouldn't have a social evening a few days after a Nano Meet.

Apologies again that I didnt make the July social, the 2nd Tuesday's in the month are becoming difficult for me but as the next one is 3rd Tuesday I should be ok and will look forward to it

We could always change the Nano Social Night to the 3rd Tuesday of the month, don't think many will worry about it

Firstly am really sorry but cant make it tonight due to my daughter starting a new job tomorrow resulting in the grandkids sleeping over tonight

I have a suggestion for future social nights and that is to try the Dog & Partridge in Calf Heath which is literally 2 minutes away from the new venue and has good reviews and would be good to suss it out , especially for anyone who camps at the new venue which is now confirmed as £10 per night for tent or sleep in car and £15 for a caravan

Nice pub only 2 minutes away from new Nano venue, out of gates turn left and immediate right into Queens Road, the Dog and Partridge is at the end of Queens Road

The Dog and Partridge gets my vote as it sells Doombar lol
Looks like a good idea for next social night, there were 6 of us last night spending a couple of hours chatting and I would put money on it the food is better than the Spead Eagle and it's a proper pub too!
