Had a word with Steve(Arctic) about a grommet for the washer bottle. If he has got one , I will take the front bumper off and see if it is the grommet that has given up the ghost and is leaking. Will take the Waxoyle with me so I can spread a bit around any points that need covering. John is going to have an Arctic engineered handbrake stretch proof link fitted.

Does anyone have a torque wrench that I could borrow?

I need to tighten up the hub nuts and these are rated at 210 nm for the rear and 350 nm for the front.

My torque wrench is not up to the job.

Thanks

Mike

You will need a spacialised one to get to 350Nm, or you could consider a torque multiplier.

Arctic, you look busy as normal, but hoping you will be able to bring along an exchange injector for 1951 engine, 2002, as we discussed at the last meet. Hope to do a lot of the work myself. Will bring tools.
Hope to get retest on T4. Will try and get there early, coming from Tewkesbury.
Happy to advise others and help out if I have time.

Will have Unipart rear brake discs for Rover 75 (Tourer, same for saloon?) 1999-2004, for sale £40, if Arctic won't take them in exchange for injector :D

The T4 will be there. As usual, we will run a list so get your name on it when you arrive.

Hi Mike.
Good job you reminded me as i had forgot, so will seek one out later, brake discs no good to me, i have no Rover now, but i do have rear discs the same as you  it would be best to remove the injector while the engine is warm see you all tomorrow.

PS have you done a leak back test on the injectors so you know which one or more are leaking ?

Got my act together, my torque wrench will do the rear hub nuts.

I have a torque wrench being delivered Monday that will handle the front hub nuts.
