After a long absence Val and I had planned to attend tomorrow but unfortunately the weather has beaten us. We are reluctant to travel and share the concerns about the heat on such an open site.

Another good one not many cats think the weather was a tad too hot!

Managed to fix Tommy's lights issue , easy when many heads are scratched.

Tommy did the cruise come back to life ? And do the reversing sensors work, I dont remember hearing them but the box might not have been plugged back in while we were checking

Yes, I was wondering if we'd remembered to plug that back in.

There is a possible explanation for the cruise. If it was connected to the RH brake light line, then with no earth to the brake light bulb the line could easily float high, meaning the CC could believe the brakes were on.

Sorry for the delay in hopping on the forum.

MASSIVE thank you to everyone for their contributions but especially to Scott and Duncan for helping resolve the lighting issue!
Thankfully the cruise control has come back strong also so my drive home was a little easier on the calf!
All in time for a trip away at the end of the month. Just need things to cool down a little so I don't bake under the car when I change the oil.

Great to catch up again, Gentlemen.
Thank you again!
